Utilization of Light Energy

ILLUMINATION Illumination is the utilization of light energy. When a body is heated, the heat energy is absorbed by the body and emits to the atmosphere, the energy the transmitted in this way is known as " Radiant Energy " . Light:- The Radiant energy in form of waves, which produces a sensation of vision upon the human eye is called "Light". Luminous Body:- The body that emits the light waves is known as "Luminous body" . Luminous Flux:- when a body is heated, its temp. increases. It radiates energy. when it become red hot, it emits light in the form of light waves, that is called " Luminous Flux". lumen:-  "Lumen" is the SI unit of luminous Flux.                                                                       lumen=CP x  ω                    ...

AC MACHINE

AC MACHINE AC Machine is classified into two  : Synchronous AC Machine   (Synchronous Motor,  Synchronous Generator) Induction AC Machine     ( Induction M otor,  Induction G enerator) As we know  machine is of two types  Motor - It converts Electrical Energy into Mechanical energy. Generator -It converts  Mechanical Energy into Electrical energy. Synchronous Machine:-  The machine  that  operates on AC supply and  generates AC e.m.f. at synchronous speed or constant speed is known as Synchronous Machine (generator, motor) . it is also known as Alternator. Synchronous motor are widely use in practice. Synchronous motor rotates at synchronous speed. Synchronous motor is works on the principle of   Magnetic Locking .   Application of Synchronous machine:  often used in belt driven reciprocating compressors, fans & blowers, vacuum pumps, pulp grinders, textile mill...

Series & Parallel Circuit / Closed loop of complex network

Series & Parallel Circuit  It is a important topic for Network Analysis  Parallel circuit:-  A parallel circuit has two or more paths for current to flow through. For example  :- Electrical house hold equipments In parallel circuit:- Current :- In parallel circuit, the total current is equal to the sum of individual branch currents.  Voltage :- In parallel circuit, the voltage across the circuit is equal in all components.  Resistance :- In parallel circuit, the total resistance is equal to the sum of  reciprocals of the  resistance of each component.  Formula for Current, Voltage, Resistance in parallel circuit :- Series Circuit   Closed loop of complex network Considering voltage rise where R drop across all the elements of loop, KVL equation is obtained as                                             -I 1 R 1  +E 1...
