HOME SAFETY DEVICES

HOME SAFETY DEVICES Fuses: - Fuses are built as a safety measure if extra current flow through a circuit. Fuses consist of a thin metal strip (made of copper or zinc) that keeps the connection open.. when current exceeds the maximum current allowed within that fuse it will get overheated and melt the metal strip . The destroyed metal strip breaks the connection and stops current flowing through. Fuses protect the appliances from electric power surges and overheating which is one of the main causes of electric fires. The fuse can be replaced after one fault. Ground Fault Circuit Interrupters: - Ground fault circuit interrupters (GFCI’s) are use to detect any irregularity in electric system and it react very fast to cut off the power. A GFCI works by comparing the output current on the neutral side to the input current on the hot side for any leaks (that could be caused by human interference). They can detect   the smallest difference, even as low as 4 milliamps. When ...

BLACK HOLE -Hidden mystery of universe - Dr Stephen Hawking

BLACK HOLE Aap sbne Dr Stephen hawking ka naam   toh suna hi hoga , Stephen hawking ek brilliant Scientist the jinhone apni puri life blackhole par research me bita di. Black hole based on theory of general relativity par Ab   Black hole ke ander toh ham ja nhi sakte or galti se sahi salamat chale bhi gaye toh bhi wapis bahar nhi aa payenge Akhir blackhole k andar chal kya raha? Ye ek tarah se universe ki mystery h jo hamare ankho k samne hai bhi   or nhi bhi Black hole k irdh girdh ek region hai jise event horizon kehte h Event horizon ek tarah ki boundary h agar aap event horizon k bahar ho toh   aap safe ho lekin agar apne event horizon ko cross kr liya aap kabhi baahar nhi aa   paoge Dr. Stephen hawking ne event horizon pe hi research kiya   k akhir ye kaise kaam krta h Toh unhone paya k k event horizon ek hologram k jaise kaam krta h Dr Stephen hawking ne ek formula diya jisse ham black hole k andar ki energy ka pata laga sakte...

Solar power plant

Solar power plant Solar power generation Solar power is the conversion of sun light into electricity using solar photovoltaic cells, this method of power generation is called solar thermal power generation. This conversion takes place in the solar cell by photovoltaic effect. Working Solar energy is used simply as a source of heat. This heat is further used to produce the steam, which drives the steam turbine. This method of power generation is called solar thermal power generation. Solar energy is directly converted into electricity using PV ( photovoltaic )  (or solar) cells as mentioned above. The PV cell is made with silicon semiconductor material.

Geothermal power plants

Geothermal power plants   In Geothermal power plants, heat from deep inside the Earth is used to generate steam to produce electricity. At a geothermal power plant 1 or 2 miles deep wells are drilled into the Earth to pump steam or hot water to the surface. these power plants are normally located near lot of hot springs, geysers, or volcanic activity, because these are places where the Earth is particularly hot just below the surface. Working Hot water is pumped from deep underground through a well under high pressure. When the water reaches the surface, the pressure is dropped, which causes the water to turn into steam. The steam spins a turbine, which is connected to a generator that produces electricity. The steam cools off in a cooling tower and condenses back to water. The cooled water is pumped back into the Earth to begin the process again. Geothermal power plants in India
